“Socialist medicine” and all that…she
told an audience in Calgary on Saturday that her family had sneaked to Canada when she was growing up to take advantage of the universal healthcare system.
…it’s my opinion that audio portions of Sarah Palin’s March 2nd appearance on Jay Leno’s Tonight show were added or amplified, edited before broadcast to make it appear that Sarah Palin was more welcome than she was.

Not that a right-wing lunatic like Tancredo would know “presidential” if it bit him in the ass, but it’s interesting that one lunatic is dissing another lunatic.
…but then, so are Palin admirers (shrug).
In a recent interview with Newsmax, Bush was asked whether he thought Palin was a viable candidate for president. Though he had some nice things to say about her “charisma,” it was clear that Bush thinks Palin doesn’t have the intellectual heft to occupy the oval office. He said that Palin’s success depends on her willingness to add a “depth of understanding of the complexity of life we’re living in today” to her rhetoric.
Sarah Palin will headline the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina in May, the gun rights group told CNN on Thursday.
The dangers of “death panels” were explained to Americans on Sarah Palin’s Facebook page. Oh, sweet Lord, she must not sleep at night…her grandson could be the next victim of “socialized medicine”.
Recently released documents from the custody battle show clearly Tripp Palin Johnston has socialized health care through Indian Health Services and the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Andrea Fay Friedman, the voice actress who played the role of “Ellen” –the character depicted as having Down syndrome on the Valentine’s Day episode of Family Guy, has responded to the criticism of sometime-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Of special significance, Friedman herself has Down syndrome.
In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.
BTW, please note that The New York Times (part of the “LIBERAL MEDIA” that Palin et al hate) omitted the last sentence.
That’s how it works, you see: Rant and rave enough about “LIBERAL MEDIA” and it will exercise censorship to avoid incurring more of your fabricated-for-the-media outrage.

It’s possible that Sarah Palin’s best quality is that she has none at all. She exists for both her friends and enemies as a fantasy figure. For the left, she is a harbinger of the hard-right government takeover they fear is coming. And for the right, she is the leader — all instinct and no sophistication — that they knew would someday lead America out of its current socialist wilderness. The pity for them both is that in reality, not to mention the polls, she sorely disappoints.
“Family Guy” (A Fox program, ironically) included a comment that the Palin’s take umbrage to, in which the girl with Down’s syndrome says her mother used to be the governor of Alaskas:
Well, Sarah, you’re also working for Fox.
You see, they like the controversial and loud…the rest (ethics, morality, veracity) appears to be secondary.
Get over yourself.
